The Government of Telangana, as part of the E-Motor Show, unveiled the world’s fastest accelerating car: the pure-electric hyper GT ‘Battista’ for the first time in India. The Battista is designed, developed, and made by Automobili Pininfarina; the Italian luxury car brand wholly owned by Mahindra & Mahindra.
With a 120 kwh battery, it offers 476 km range. The hyper GT Battista has a carbon fibre body, encased in a carbon fibre chasis. It is truly a hypercar with performance like 0-100 km acceleration in just 1.86 seconds and 0-200 km in 4.75 seconds. Battista is programmed with five different drive modes, ranging from the ultra-precise racing set up for maximum lateral agility.

The car was unveiled by Sujai Karampuri, Director, Electronics, Semiconductors and Advanced Chemistry cell, Government of Telangana in the presence of Gurpratap Boparai, CEO, Europe Business, Mahindra & Mahindra and Paolo Dellacha, CEO, Automobili Pininfarina.
