Mr. Shailesh Chandra, MD, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles and Tata Passenger EV, along with his team on 28 September 2022, launched India’s cheapest electric car, which offers a range of 300 km on a full charge. With a low price of Rs 8.49 lakh, it will be India’s most affordable electric car. This will be open for booking on 10th October 2022 and its delivery will start on January 2023.

With a 19.2kWh battery, this EV will come in two variants only XE which will cost Rs.8.49 lakhs, and XT which will cost Rs.9.09 lakhs. Ex-showroom price. And in a 24kWh battery, there will be 5 variant options available. under a 3.3kW AC charger, there are 3 choices XT which will cost Rs.9.99 lakhs, XZ+ will cost Rs.10.79 lakhs, XZ+tech LUX will cost Rs.11.29 lakhs.
